Back in 2022, I said there was a problem in the independent art sphere: there were plenty of creators, but not enough publications and critics who were reviewing good art, stories and media from the independent scene.

Back in March, in a podcast on my second channel, I made an off-hand comment that I knew a friend who was working on a project to address this very issue.
I am happy to announce that this project has taken flight. I present to you the L&A Catalogue (2025 edition).
The L&A Catalogue is a sister publication of Corncrake Magazine.
The Corncrake Magazine is a digital literary magazine and platform which publishes short stories and series from independent writers and creators.
The L&A Catalogue, however, is a compendium and guide to the best literature, art and creative products from independent writers, artists and creators who recognize that the modern entertainment industry is vapid and dead.
An important point here is that the pieces inside the magazine are curated. When I say that the best is on display here, I do mean it. The art, the products and literature have all been verified by the editors of the magazine as being of high quality.
The independent works within this edition are the crème de la crème. This isn’t a simple list of independent books, paintings and items that you can buy from online indie creators.
This is an index of quality.
