A shame to see you go, I encountered this blog just a bit ago and was enjoying your reads.
For my work I spend a lot of time in a lonely office and have come to this general idea, that we’re already into a cyborg dystopian future. Sure, we thought the electronics would be in our heads, and the images would be volumetric, etc al. But the reality is that I’m sitting before two flat screens waiting for something to happen, for hours and hours at a time, and with nothing vividly REAL that will ground me in this place and time, until I get off shift.
I will miss your thoughts and analysis essays. They were engaging and fulfilling. I don't want to let you go, but I understand your choice. Should you decide to return, I will wait. I bid you farewell my friend and I wish all the best on your new path in real life.

I think many of us are going to have to take this final red pill, the sooner the better. I think many will be back, however.
